To enhance international students’ understanding of Thai culture, the Global Relations Division in collaboration with the Division of Student Development Affairs held Thai Cultural Workshop for international students on 15 September 2019 at D1 Building.
In Thai Cultural Workshop, international students learned how to do bamboo dance, Lanna drum, and Lanna dance with the support from Thai students.
Immersion in another culture was a great way for international students to gain a deeper understanding, learn to appreciate other cultures and ideas, and become more open to compromise. During the group performances, students also had a chance to interact with people from different backgrounds which helps in creating connections and developing their interpersonal skills.
