To promote exchange and cooperation in education, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni; Dean of the School of Management, Dr. Chatrudee Jongsureyapart; Assistant to Dean, Dr. Jirapa Pradera Diez and Dr. Apisom Intralawan participated in the University Alliance of The Silk Road (UASR) at Xi’an Jiaotong University in Xi’an, China on 16 – 21 September 2019.
In the UASR Presidents’ Forum, MFU Vice President gave the speech in the thematic session entitled International Education Collaboration. Moreover, the Tourism Sub-Alliance of the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) was formed on 19 September 2019. Representatives from four universities including Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Mae Fah Luang University, Xi’an Jiaotong University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University were awarded the Tourism Sub-Alliance plaque at the UASR meeting.
The University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR) established in 2015 is a non-governmental and non-profit organization aimed at openness and international cooperation in higher education. There are nearly 151 universities from 38 countries and regions participating in the alliance and Mae Fah Luang University is the only Thai university that joined UASR.
