On 28 November 2019, the delegates from the Northern Institute of Justice, Luang Prabang, Lao PDR led by Mr. Sengphet Keophomma, Vice Director of Academic Affairs visited Mae Fah Luang University to negotiate and discuss academic cooperation with the School of Law.
In the discussion, the two institutes planned to develop a Memorandum of Understanding to encourage human development in the judicial and justice fields. The cooperation would cover student and staff exchanges as well as scholarship for the graduate programme.
All in all, this visit paved the way for future fruitful cooperation in the field of law between MFU and the Northern Institute of Justice, all of which would indeed benefit education system and support the demand for legal experts in ASEAN countries.
