On 3 December 2019, Mae Fah Luang University had the great honour of receiving the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Georg Schmidt. The purposes of this visit were to strengthen relations and discuss academic cooperation possibilities between MFU and German universities.
During the visit, H.E. Mr. Georg Schmidt stated that the embassy would facilitate further educational collaboration for research, student and staff exchanges, and other collaborative projects between MFU and German institutes particularly in the fields of animal and plant science, and energy.
Altogether, MFU and the German Embassy expect that future educational cooperation will establish a strong relationship and support sustainable development in the two countries.
