On 11 December 2019, the “Scholarship & Study abroad by DAAD Thailand” event was held by Dr. Georg Verweyen, Director of DAAD Information Centre in Bangkok to provide MFU students and lecturers with an up-to-date information about research funding and study abroad opportunities in Germany.
DAAD is a non-profit association of all German universities that provides scholarships for international students to pursue a Master's or PhD degree in Germany. Also, there are a lot of research opportunities for international PhD students and researchers.
In addition, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajeseni and Dr. Georg Verweyen discussed further academic collaborations between MFU and Germen universities for student exchange programmes, double degree programme, visiting scholars, international accreditation.
