On 15 December 2020, the President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Chayaporn Wattanasiri and the Flash Country Partner, Ms. Jaraspak Kanplueamjit signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for developing logistics and e-commerce programme.
Under the MoU, the School of Management and Flash Express (Thailand) Company Limited will work together to invite IT experts from Flash Express to educate and enhance MFU students’ knowledge and skills for e-commerce, business and supply chain management. This cooperation will also provide an opportunity and stage for students to create innovation and increase professional experience at Flash Express (Thailand) Company Limited.
Ms. Jaraspak Kanplueamjit stated that Flash Express (Thailand) Company Limited, as the logistics, courier delivery, and integrated e-commerce service provider company, focuses on running business with value and benefits creation between the organisation and society. As the education plays a significant role in building a strong foundation for human resource development, the company therefore initiates the academic cooperation for developing logistics and e-commerce programme with the university. Mae Fah Luang University is the first university that joined this project because the company has recognised that MFU has the potential and the determination to promote the lifelong learning among students.
Nowadays, MFU offers the Bachelor of Business Administration Programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This programme aims to produce graduates with theoretical academic knowledge and the ability to apply such knowledge in real business situations. Students will have the skills and potential to manage using logistics and supply chain concepts to increase the efficiency in business management systems corresponding to the development of country.
