“MFU Says No to Gifts” Policy

   On 17 December 2020, the President of Mae Fah Luang University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chayaporn Wattanasiri announced the “MFU Says No to Gifts” policy in the Meeting of University Administrators. 

    Under Says No to Gifts" policy, the university will say no to receiving and giving gifts in any form. This policy expresses MFU’s commitment in working against corruption in all forms according to the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) of the National Anti–Corruption Commission (NACC). The year 2020 marks the second year adopting this policy. MFU will continue to adhere to the commitment to becoming a university with good governance, transparency, and accountability.

    Additionally, in September 2020, MFU released core values of the university called “MFU·FIRST,” meaning that MFU will be united under the following five values:

-    F stands for Flexibility: We change for the best.

-    I stands for Integrity: We always do what is right. Mae Fah Luang University is committed to conducting our university policy of integrity and good governance.  

-    R stands for Resourcefulness: We create innovation.

-    S stands for Spirit: We work with heart.

-    T stands for Teamwork: We get it done together.
